Accessories have the power to expand one’s wardrobe like nothing else.  One such valuable piece is the pendant necklace. Pendant necklaces are extra long necklaces with a pendant attached. The pendant can be fancy or informal. And dependent upon the one you choose for your outfit, it can really impact your look.  Pendants can be purchased from most jewelry stores and come in a variety of styles. If you don’t already own a few pendants then I guarantee after reading this post you’ll love them and want some too! Here’s a few things you want to keep in mind when selecting your pendants…..

-Choose your pendant in colors that’s flattering to you.

-Get a variety of pendant types. Fancy one’s can dress up cute outfits like a blazer, tshirt, fitted jeans and heels while a less fancier one may work well with a top and flip flops.

-Pick quality pendants. Whether you go for real gold, silver or stones or the costume variety make sure your pendant chain is strong and durable and your pendant is securely attached.

-Carefully store pendants away. You can hang on necklace racks, etc. Be careful, the extra long chains can easily tangle.

-You can pair small necklaces with pendants for the layered look!

-Works great when getting dressed in a hurry! Just throw on a plan top and some pants or skirt and spruce up your outfit with a cool pendant.
